Hi,
In our company, we use each-time is possible Veeam Replication to migrate VMs from old to new infrastructure.
In the present case, a customer asked us if we can enable the application-aware processing for Exchange CAS and MBX VMs servers to the replication job.
Generally we proceed like this :
1. First hot replica during the day
2. Delta cold replica at migration hour
3. Start VMs on target and validation
In the case that we proceed with a delta cold replica, to get latest state of the VM, the application awarness features does not bring anything, right ?
Thanks for the return,
Best regards.

Re: Veeam Replication - App-awarness
For 2. if the VM is in shutdown mode then there is no such application aware processing.
But anyway I would use Planned Failover feature from Veeam for it. It will replicate the delta (application aware if you have enabled), then suspend the VM and replicate delta. Then failover the VM.
If you want to test the failover and have some time to set it up, you can use our SureReplica feature in on demand lab mode.
