Veeam Replication from Backup Copy query

Hi,

I am looking at using Veeam Replication from a backup copy...

My question is, I have a large VM which I want to use this with...

If I use the backup copy as the source, it's going to take a long time to initially restore to create the replica VM...

During this time (at least two backup copy intervals) will backup copy jobs fail etc because the backup copy is in use by the replica job?

No. New GFS points will be created just fine during the replication from backup process. Only potential issue is that retention operations on the backup point being replicated might be blocked but I don't think this would cause any significant problems
