Hi,
as in the v12 there is the possibility to restore only permissions I wanted to do it but the button is greyed out.
Its a VBR, VM backup-> Restore guest files Microsoft Windows
After the backup browser opened I can see the folders and when I click on restore I have overwrite, keep (this is possible) and Permissions only which is greyed out. I didn't found any limitation, Im not in compare mode, do you know what I can be missing? I tried it already on 2 customers, 2 VBRs.
Thank you!

Re: Veeam restore ACL/permission only is greyed out
Hi Stano,
Just to confirm, you checked the Considerations and Limitations page here, correct? The url I used should highlight the 'Permission Restore' entries that are relevant.
Basically, can you try selecting the desired files, do the compare to production, and then check if you can do just a permissions restore?
Similarly, can you confirm that the original files still exist on the production machine or were they deleted/moved perhaps?
