veeam restore options

Dear all
Hi

i read veeam document part of " Select Restore Mode " but could not understand clearly difference between Restore and Migrate just comprehend use migrate option for restore config backup in new server now would you some explain about that

I think the main difference is, that with the "restore" option Veeam scans the whole environment for changes, like new restore points, in order to get any updates between the configuration backup and failure of your backup server.
With "migrate" Veeam doesn't scan the environment for changes and it will also alert you if any jobs are enabled inside the configuration backup.

It is just a different restore logic with changes in the Veeam database. At "Migrate" the B&R Servername and SQL connections, passwords and such things are different. If you restore on same server (for example if you just deleted a job by mistake you can use the "restore" mode.
