Veeam Server migration
We have two Veeam backup servers.
- Server1 (Physical) with 50 TB scale out repository as local disks
-Server2(VM) with 100 TB scale out repository as local disks
On server1:
- Backup jobs pointed to its own repository
- Backup copy jobs pointed to Server2's repository
On server2:
- Backup jobs pointed to its own repository
We are planning to move Veeam server from Server2(VM) to new physical server.
What is the best way to perform this task?

You would need to re-create jobs on the first backup server instance, migrate backup files and map new jobs to them.

Hi Parth,
Can you share details about the scenario you have with the two separate backup servers?
It's recommended approach to manage backup infrastructure through a single management server. Thanks!

You do not need a separate license for Enterprise Manager, but you would need to merge your two licenses to be able to manage both backup servers from there.

Okay Thanks. But, Does it make sense to deploy enterprise manager just to manage 2 instance?

Re: Veeam Server migration
Enterprise Manager will provide you a single pane of glass across both instances. The question is whether you actually need two of them or single instance is enough.
