veeam speed evaluation

I am new to veeam and I am currently evaluation the performance of veeam. I found that some times the backup speed excess the bandwidth. I would like to understand the rationale behind

Сharles, what "backup speed" are you referring to? If you are talking about source storage data retrieval speed reported in the job statistics, then it should not be compared with network bandwidth (the data transfer speed). Also, note that these numbers differ a lot for different job runs as incremental run is typically a few times faster than the full backup.
