Veeam support for Peer Persistence HPE 3PAR

Post by lowlander »

Hi,

we have peer persistence configuration (HPE 3PAR). Volumes are being replicated between HPE 3PAR systems based on remote copy groups.

How does Veeam react on a failsafe state of a remote copy group ? Wil the backup fail, or is the volume in failsafe being backed up ?

Thanks !

Veeam can definitely work with 3PAR Peer Persistence, as you can read here:
vmware-vsphere-f24/3par-peer-persistenc ... 31954.html

or here:
vmware-vsphere-f24/unable-to-add-3par-i ... ce#p154189

As long as the configuration is done, the failover between two arrays is transparent to Veeam.

Hi Luca,

thanks for your reply. I continued the discussion on the first thread in your reply. We are aware peer persistence is supported, however we are curious how a failsafe condition impacts the interpretation of Veeam on the backup jobs.

Thanks !
