Veeam update 4 Licensing

I have Enterprise plus socket based perpetual license for 24 CPU sockets and 10 Veeam agents license.

Now after Update 4, I can see that there are 24 sockets and 6 Instances. What are those 6 Instances and how do I use Veeam agent license in Update 4 as new update does not support it?

Instance is a calculated value representing the total “value” of all workloads that can be protected and/or managed by the Customer using Veeam or partner solutions. Here is the details.
Do you have 10 Veeam agents licensed as server or workstation?
If workstation, 6 instances are enough for up to 18 agents.

I have 10 Agent license for servers.
So how will i get 10 instances in update 4? Do i need to update my license? because i am unble to install existing Veeam agent license.

I would suggest opening a license support case for insight on the merge after the upgrade, they should be able to assist here.

To get a combined license key you need to merge your Agents and sockets keys via veeam.com -> Licensing Management tab.
