Virtual Lab creation error

Post by Daveyd »

I am running B&R 6.5 and am building a Veeam virtual Lab. The host I chose in the virtual lab creation is an ESX 4.0 host. The lab creation failed with the error: "Updating VMX file Error: SSH credentials are not enabled for the host xxxxx"

What SSH credentials is Veeam trying to use or what exactly does the error mean?

Hard to say from the summary error... we will need to see debug logs - what is the support case ID for this issue?

One thing I would try before anything else is right-click the host in Veeam tree, open properties and make sure the correct SSH credentials are provided.

I added each vCenter server and not the hosts individually, if that matters.

This is what I guessed... this way, you do not get a chance to enter those credentials for each host (unlike when adding standalone hosts).
