VM 0KB

Post by jamerson »

Hi Guys,
Lately we have created a Win10 in ESXI 6.5, however after adding this WIN10 to a backup its shows the size is 0KB.
is this a related issue to the ESXI version or i need to open a ticket ?
VEEAM BK version is 9.5

thank you

Julien, there are no known issues with ESXi 6.5 that would match this your description. Thanks!

after I've rebooted the host I can't seem to connect because the veeam broker is not connecting

I know this issue occurred if you change the server or database name but we haven't done this at all.

thank you

I managed to fix it, it was a local dns issue.
the host VEEAM does not have a A record IP4 but only IP6.
after creating IP4 A records stuff start working

Correct, currently Veeam Bakcup & Replication does not support IPv6, which also propagates to product component communication. Thanks.
