Hi All
I have a Win2k8 server running my Domino mail server, I can not get the Domino mail server to work properly it blue screen every hour with the Tools installed. Something with the memory reclaiming.
Now with out the VM Tools on it the Backups fails with the error
Unable to start in-guest process: guest OS state is not Running
Is there anything else I can do to get the Veeam to back it up?

Re: VM Tools and VeeAm
Eben, have you checked with VMware regarding blue screens (whether you have the correct VMware Tools version, etc.)?

Re: VM Tools and VeeAm
Does it happen at the time of backup, say, closer to the end of the job when the snapshot is being committed? Can it be reproduced without Veeam presence. You can take the snapshot of VM manually, keep the snapshot open for long enough (similar to time it takes to replicate the VM), delete the snapshot and see whether the shows up? Thanks.I have a Win2k8 server running my Domino mail server, I can not get the Domino mail server to work properly it blue screen every hour with the Tools installed.

Re: VM Tools and VeeAm
Hi there
It happens when the VM Tools is installed on the client, like every hour as soon as I uninstall the tools the blue screens stop, and the backup fails. The backup fails in the beginning start part.
The tools version is 9.4.0 build 1280544
Busy downloading VM Tools 10 now to see if that will help
