Post by moshe.mazor@hpe.com »

Hi everyone,

I need to backup a VM with vAPP option enable.
I able to back it up but, when trying to restore the VM the vAPP options are missing.
Please Advice

Hi Moshe

Veeam Backup & Replication does currently not support backing up vApp options from VMs through vCenter.
We know about the request and I can add your vote to the request.

Hi,
Thanks for the replay.
Do you think as a temporary solution I can do it with API scripts?

I thought of a solution.
Prescript to export vApp option on backup and post script to import the vApp option on restore.

Yes, that a valid workaround. Use a pre-job script to document vApp Options for all VMs.
