VMA as linux repository

Post by patrickds »

Would the VMA be a good system to use for linux repository (with NFS NAS backend), or are there any specifics about it that make it a bad choice?

I usually install a VMA on every vSphere deployment, and using it for Veeam as well saves the extra time (and resources on the hosts) needed for installing another linux VM.
For some deployments, saving a vcpu can mean a serious performance gain.

I believe it should be fine to use it as a Linux repository, just make sure your VMA appliance meets our minimum system requirements that can be found in the release notes document. Thanks!
