VMWare 6.5 Support with Veeam 7.0

Hi

Can somebody tell me if I can backup VMWare ESX 6.5 with Veeam Backup and Replication 7.0? The problem is, that we cannot upgrade Veeam at the moment because we have a Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Server installed and Veeam 7.0 is the last version with I can restore single documents from WSS 3.0

Hi Bruno and welcome to community!
vSphere 6.5 was released in 2016 while VBR v7 in 2013, so it's not supported.
First version compatible with vSphere 6.5 is Veeam Backup & Replication 9.5u1.

Thanks for your quick reply. And is it correct, that Veeam 7.0 is the last version with which I can restore single documents from Windows Share Point Services 3.0 or am I able to do this with a higher version of Veeam?

Hi Bruno, if you used UAIR wizard for SharePoint Services 3.0 item-level restore, then you can request it by opening a ticket with our support team.

Hi foggy, we used UAIR and this worked with 7.0. But the question is, is there a possibility to restore single items in WSS 3.0 with Veeam 7.5 or higher?

Yes, you can restore in newer VBR versions. As Foggy wrote you need to download new UAIR for that.
