For example, the VMware ESXi host was corrupted and VMware HA was triggered during Veeam backup.
Does VMware HA succeed without any problem?
Does the backup fail?
The following article says that vMotion is invalid during backup.
vmware-vsphere-f24/storage-vmotion-duri ... 18533.html
I have one more question.
Can I take a snapshot manually during backup?
Are there any problems?
Thanks,
Yuya

Re: VMware HA during backup
HA should happen without issues.
Our backup will likely fail and retry will cover the backup if you have configured it (default).
If you want to be 100% sure, create a test VM and test the scenario in your specific environment.
Yes, you can take (additional) snapshots during backup.
