Hi,
I would like to know if there is support for Xen Hypervisors and if it is possible to take one existing backup of a VM created on VMware and use it to create a VM on Xen?
I would like to migrate all my VMs from VMware to Xen using the existing backups to avoid creating the VMs all over again.
Thanks.

Re: VMware migration to Xen Hypervisor
Veeam doesn‘t support Xen as a Hypervisor.
What you can try todo:
1) Backup the VmWare VM with the Veeam Agent for Windows
2) Create an empty XenServer VM with virtual disks as the source vm from the vmware environment
3) Boot the xen vm from the Recovery Media
4) It‘s possible that you have to load the disk and network drivers to the WINPE Environment
5) Restore the Agent Backup
6) Boot up the vm after the restore
7) Remove the vmware tools and install the xenserver tools
If you have already a vm started on the xenserver, you could install the veeam Agent and create a recovery media with the driver included. That way, you don‘t have to load the drivers each time you do the restore for another vm.
Creation of the vms can be done per script on the xenserver command line.

Re: VMware migration to Xen Hypervisor
Alternatively, you can also Export VM Disks or Export as Virtual Disk from agent-based backup and just import VHD\VMDK to Xen.
/Cheers!
