Hello,
we use the Veeam Backup & Replication Enterprise Version.
We have one Enterprise Manager with Console.
All other Locations are Veeam Proxys installed on dedicated Windows Server VM.
My Questions is:
Does VEEAM have a OVF for vSphere based on Linux which we can use for Local Proxy?
We need to save the Money for Windows Server Licences...
Regards
Lars

Re: VMware OVF as local Proxy
Hi Lars, there's no OVF provided by Veeam but you can deploy Linux VMs using whatever method you like and then add those as proxies to Veeam B&R (mind the limitations!).

Hi Lars,
There are lots of guidelines and articles about that on the internet. Just make sure you are compliant with our system requirements and follow the recommendations.
Thanks
