vPower NFS service vanished

We have 2 Proxy Servers but they were used as Backup servers for v5. Since uninstalling the Backup & replication software for v5 we have lost the vPower NFS Service.

Now Instant Recovery is failing with an RPC error. What can be done to restore this functionality to both backup proxies ?

Amit, you can enable vPower NFS service while creating/editing the backup repository (at the 'vPower NFS' step of the wizard). Thanks.

I have tried this and it seems to work fine but when I check the proxy then the service is not running and still get the RPC failure. When I run through the wizard it says vPower NFS service is not installed.

I would suggest to have a short webex session with our support engineers to identify whether you are doing everything right.

Ok...I tried to log a ticket but the support portal was down....if you can do this on my behalf I can have a session tomorrow sometime ?
