vSphere 7.0 U2 Support

Ok, thanks. If you plan to introduce an LTSC version, will you also think about adding such support? We are now in an officially unsupported configuration since we had to update to U2 because of the vCenter security issue (we were at V7.0 U1 with Veeam V10), but we can't update to V11 yet since our service provider still hasn't updated their systems to V11.

Or perhaps implement backwards compatibility for newer versions with the previous version for cloud providers?

May i know if you have updated to U2? Does it work V10 with U2?
We are planning to update vCenter to U2 only

Alex, Franc even wrote that they're in an unsupported setup, so I would advise against matching this set-up, as you won't be eligible for any Support if something __does__ go wrong.

according to the documentary is CDP supported at the latest patch ?
we have one customer wanna use CDP instead of replication, right now we are using a trial for the customer to try CDP.

Yes,this version supports CDP. The error you describe is usually DNS specific error where one of the server can not reach the other components. You need DNS working incudling reverse DNS on all hosts, Veeam (CDP) Proxies and the backup server.

it works now, wasn't a DNS but the IO filter needed to be updated,
