waiting for backup infrastructure resources takes hours

Hi,

We got several backup jobs that run every night. The number of jobs is around 25 and contain only vmware vm's. Lately all backups are very slow and we keep getting the message waiting for backup infrastructure resources, this takes hours, sometimes 4 to 6 hours. Any idea how i can troubleshoot these problems. Also speed is very slow, around 10-15 MB/s.

Hi Kevin, could you provide full job bottleneck statistics?
The problem may be with lack of proxy server resources.

Mostly it gives the bottleneck source above 90%

What transport mode are you using?
As for "waiting for resources", you can look into the configured maximums for the number of concurrent tasks on proxy/repository servers. Anyway, job logs will tell the exact required resources, so please contact technical support to review them.
