Hello,
just a curiosity, never crossed your thoughts a full running implementation on linux of core veeam server side components (like the backup server)?
Linux repo was a nice step, but when will be the full emancipation? (like Vmware did with Vcenter Center in windows.... now on linux ... before usually on windows...).
Think of a super hardened physical linux server, running backup server, repo and proxy, a super fast all-in-one install with zero-copy mem, directly accessing the SAN where the VMs reside (SAN transport mode).
Would be excellent.
just a curiosity...

Re: what about a linux implementation of veeam core components?
Hello,
The idea is interesting, thanks for sharing! It's not on our road map yet but we keep tracking the requests anyway.
Thanks!
