We are finally ready to make a move and purchase portable storage to address Ransomware and "Airgap" needs. The idea is to copy the data and never plug the drive back in again unless needed. I wanted to know what everyone is using? I would rather not use tape.
Dell sent me a spec for their PowerVault RD1000 drive unit which is an appliance that just holds the drive. Looks like max capacity though is only 2TB per drive and it comes with its own software?, is it compatible with Veeam?

This System is a Tandberg RDX OEM. It works great with Veeam.
