We installed an Exagrid system to replace our Data Domain unit.
Will Veeam automatically "roll-off" the restore points in the Data Domain?
I would rather have the "old" restore points roll off the Data Domain while new restore points for a given VM are written on the Exagrid.

Re: When does Veeam expire / roll-off existing restore points?
Check Scale Out Backup Repository sealed mode. https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=110
You can transition your Repository to Scale out backup repository, add the Exagrid and enable the sealed mode for exagrid.

Unfortunately we set up the Exagrid as a brand new repository that is not connected in any way to the existing Data Domain repository or jobs using the Data Domain repository.

You can still migrate it to one SOBR I think.

Otherwise, you would need to handle the old backups retention manually.
