I notice that i always get a server term because of windows update on my servers. is there a way to configure Veeam to rescan AFTER windows updates are made?

A full nightly backup. i think its a forward incremental backup. the scan fails but does not try again after windows update happens.

If I get you right, you're asking about job retry which can be configured in the Job Schedule menu here.
