Winload error on boot VM Replica #03507141

After a replica is created (VMware / Win2008 VM) can't boot properly from it using Vsphere Client.

After power on it shows a Windows error ( File: \windows\system32\winload.exe Status: 0xc0000000e) - which seems to be from the replica's partitions being 'lost'.

I am able to fix this using diskpart and bootrec /rebuildbcd to get it functioning but this is not my idea of ideal recovery.

Could anyone help me?
