FULL Backup Periodics VB AWS

Hi my name is Afan,

I want to ask a question can VB AWS produce Full Backup Periodically?
Our organization have policy that every Backup VM must be periodic Full backup every week.

I notice that VB AWS only have Forever Forward Incremental that means only have 1 Full Backup for the first time backup and the rest is incremental.
If Full backup already got into retention, that will be merge to earliest incremental.

but as I asked above, can VB AWS provide full backup every week, is there a solution for that?

our organization also uses VB Azure and it can be done by 1 policy having 2 schedules:
1. daily schedule an Repo A
2. weekly schedule at Repo B
this method can produce full backup every week. I know that is not the purpose of the different repositories in each schedule in VB Azure. Can VB AWS do the same?

Hi Afan,

There is no active full in VB for AWS as we use 1 full and forever incremental logic. Archiving to Glacier for Monthly or Yearly backups will produce a new full backup on the archive repository however but there is no option like in Azure to specify a different repository per schedule.
