I'll be performing a v11 to v12 upgrade soon, and one of the steps is to disable any running tasks. Our 4-hour SOBR offload could kick in at any point, so I'd like to know if there are any quick win tricks to disable this whilst I'm preparing the server?
I'm already aware of the SOBRArchivingScanPeriod registry setting and the SOBR Offload Schedule, but these are both a bit clunky in the context of an upgrade.
Anything else I can do to easily suspend this, e.g. renaming an EXE?
Thanks, Rob.

Re: Temporarily Disable SOBR Offload
Yes simply change the available offload window in the SOBR capacity tier settings to prevent offload while the migration is occurring or put the extent in maintenance mode...

Re: Temporarily Disable SOBR Offload
Unfortunately, doesn't work so well with 100+ SOBR's. Even scripted, would take 30 seconds or so per repository.
