Veeam failed to connect to NetApp host
Hello,
I'm trying to add the NetApp storage to the Veeam Backup and Replication 10.
On the NetApp ONTAP System Manager i created a new user with the role "backup" and the application for "HTTP".
On the Veeam i added the IP of the host, the problems appears when i try to add the credentials on the Veeam. I selected the protocol HTTP and port 80 and i received the errror " failed to connect to host xxxxxx"
I tried to ping the host from the Veeam server and it's working.
What else can i check ? I need to make other modify on the NetApp / Veeam ?
Thanks in advance.

What ONTAP version do you use? v10 is multiple years old and support therefore only very old ONTAP versions.
I would update Veeam to latest version and see if this addresses it.

Hi Raa
Welcome to the forums.
You must provide credentials for a user account with administrative privilege's. Just "backup" will not work.
Can you give the user the admin role and try again?
If that still not help, please provide a Case number.
Without case number, the topic will eventually be deleted by moderators.
Thanks
Fabian
PS: support can only help if you upload logs https://www.veeam.com/kb1832

What ONTAP version do you use?
My guess is that you use newer ONTAP version that need a newer Veeam version.
Please share ticket number here for reference.
