Deploying Proxmox Proxy on non-routable , non-DHCP network is not possible.

Post by blockbridge »

When deploying Proxmox proxy VM there is an option for DHCP networking or Manual IP config. The manual IP wizard requires a gateway, which may not always exist. It does allow to proceed with a fake one. However, on next/final step it errors out with "DNS is required". However, there is no field anywhere to set the DNS!

Cheers.

Hi,
the DNS servers can also be set in the Networks tab. It's just set globally and not per network.
