Hello,
when I configure a worker, veeam only presents me the local storage of proxmox node, where I don't have enough space for the worker vm.
I have a shared volume available where all the vm are hosted .
Is it by design that the worker can only be installed on the local storage ?
The default local storage must be enabled on all hosts where worker VMs will be deployed.
If you cannot use the default storage in your environment or do not have enough disk space, please contact Veeam Customer Support.

Yes, it is possible to configure workers to use a storage different than the local one.
However, in v1 of the product we decided to postpone automation for that operation. Which means that all custom adjustments concerning Veeam infrastructure must be carried out manually with the help of our support team.
The instructions are not public because we want to be sure that it's our own mistake if something doesn't work properly in such config : )
