Is it possible to replicate from VMware to Proxmox?
I am thinking about keeping main site VMware but switching disaster recovery to Proxmox (now both sides are VMware).

Hello,
There is no replication feature between VMware and Proxmox.
You can restore VMware VMs in the Proxmox environment.

Re: Veeam replicate from VMware to Proxmox
@rovshan.pashayev I'm very glad to hear that, but I cant figure out HOW TO. I looked in the documentation here https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120
and the option to restore to proxmox does not exist for me. Asking the question to Veeam intelligence it tells me to "To restore a VMware VM to a Proxmox cluster, you need to restore the VM to a temporary location, convert the VM files to a format compatible with Proxmox, and then import the converted VM into Proxmox. For detailed steps, refer to the <Unverified URL: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Main_Page>. If you need further assistance, please contact Veeam Customer Support."
which is kludgy and barely more usable than doing vmdk conversion by hand to begin with. Are there plans to make this actually useful?
