XCP-ng Plugin Public Beta Issue/Suggestion

Post by coolsport00 »

In my recent testing with the Public BETA, I got everything setup & configured fine, then attempted a backup job. I had 5 VMs in it. 3 were successful; 2 failed. I dug in th Logs for the 2 failed VMs and was able to find I ran out of disk space on my Repo. The Job doesn't display this in the "task list" though like it does for VMware/Hyper-V Jobs. Can this be an added enhancement for XCP-ng Plugin Jobs?

The other VM that failed was me attempting to backup the VBR (Windows 2022) XCP-ng VM. It failed. Are you not able to backup VBR VMs on XCP-ng? I can provide the log to my VBR VM from the Veeam server XEN\Plugins folder

Thank you.

Pavel/Anton...this post can be deleted & no need to have follow-up on. The low disk space does display in the Job history window...just not when you explicitly have a VM in the list/Window selected. In that case, it only shows "backup job failed. backup task failed" without further information. But the "main" Job window does show a 'why' (low disk space in my case). And for both my VMs, this was the case. Sorry for misposting...but on the flip side, at least I figured out my issue :D
