Hi
We are looking to implement a backup and replication VLAN, do the VMs need to have this VLAN configured as well as the host or does only the host need configuring?
Not sure if Veeam actually connects within the VM or not, I didn't think it did.
Any help/advice appreciated.

If you use Application Aware option then VBR connects to VM. Please check this helpcenter section for details.
