backup copy help

Hi,
I need help to understand the backup copy to rotate device.

I've update to patch 3 and use the registry hack.
now the backup job was already setup with reverse incremental and was running good.
after that I've created the backup copy and attach the backup job to it.
do i need to make a full backup again so the backup copy will kik in and start to copy the backup to the usb disk?

If there is a restore point created within the specified copy interval available, backup copy job will start copying it automatically.

Otherwise, you can right click the job, select "Sync Now" option and start synchronization interval anew. Thanks.
