Hello - I am looking at setting up a backup copy job. I would like for the job to copy two restore points, 3 monthly full backups and 2 yearly full backups. My normal backup job runs every day at 10PM. If I set the backup copy job to run at 11PM each day, what would happen if the normal backup job is not finished at 11PM? Does the backup copy job wait for the normal backup job to complete?
Thank you

Re: Backup Copy Job - Conflict with normal Backup Job?
Yes, the job will wait for the new restore points to appear and then start processing them.

Re: Backup Copy Job - Conflict with normal Backup Job?
Please keep in mind the restore job has top priority among all other job types.
The list of priorities between jobs looks like this:
1. Highest. Restore job (may cancel jobs over UI notification).
2. Middle. Backup job (can cancel a backup copy job silently), replication job can be processed concurrently or interrupted by backup job (it depends on conditions).
3. Lowest. Backup copy job (cannot cancel any jobs). Thanks!
