converting a snapshot to a reference point - schedule

I apologize for this question if it is too easy...but I recently had a vendor rollout Veeam for our VM's(Hyper-V). I've had a couple of guests have "Converting a snapshot to a reference point - Scheduled"...and it just hangs there. Replication is still occurring via Hyper-V. The only way I've been able to get rid of the message is by canceling. Can anyone give some insight into what's happening and how to really fix it?
