Hi All,
I am looking for as much explanation as I can find around the 'Enable Hyper-V guest quiescence' setting as possible!!!
Everywhere one I ask from VEEAM explains it to the best of their ability, but it is still clear as mud! Firstly what is 'Guest Quiescence', and secondly what is this specific setting?
I am interested in exactly what is happening right down to the block level of the disk...
Any help here will be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Davo

Re: Enable Hyper-V guest quiescence meaning???
Hi Davo,
Hyper-V guest quiescence allows you to get a consistent backup of VMs that are not supporting Microsoft VSS, for example, Linux VMs.
Please review the article in the UG with additional explanations of Transaction Consistency and Guest Quiescence. Thanks!
