Error: Unable to perform application-aware processing

One of my jobs has been running an error. It has brought the following error message:

Failed to create snapshot Dell EqualLogic VSS HW Provider on uisahv01-3 (mode: Veeam application-aware processing) Details: Unable to perform application-aware processing because connection to the guest could not be established
Error: Unable to perform application-aware processing because connection to the guest could not be established

I opened a support case: 03519338

The application is no longer backed up for more than 15 days.

The technician told me to test a share \\ 192.168.130.16 \ admin $ which to me does not make much sense. Because this ip depicts one of our cluster connections to storage. Does anyone have any ideas?

it's hard for me to follow the case because it's not English, but from your error message above I have one question: are you using an offhost proxy? If yes, I strongly recommend to switch to onhost proxy.

I guess you tested already backup without application awareness?
