Hallo,
bei einen Server, der schon mehrere Wochen erfolgreich Backups erstellt, haben wir seit heute das Problem, dass die Backups eben nicht mehr erstellt werden, als Fehler ist im Log folgendes zu finden:
Failed to collect VM (ID: 6a41a5fd-a8c1-4290-aed1-c964976d15c6) information. Failed to collect VM switch ports. Failed to collect VM switch ports. Failed to process switch port (WMI path: '\\HYPERV01\root\virtualization\v2:Msvm_SyntheticEthernetPortSettingData.InstanceID="Microsoft:6A41A5FD-A8C1-4290-AED1-C964976D15C6\\F2E1EEED-690A-4B8C-918B-196DBB95A3DE"'). Failed to collect switch port (name: 'Microsoft:6A41A5FD-A8C1-4290-AED1-C964976D15C6\F2E1EEED-690A-4B8C-918B-196DBB95A3DE\C') VLAN settings. Error code: 0x80041032
Die Meldung kommt im Grunde genommen für alle 8 Server, die im Job enthalten sind, nur dann mit einer anderen ID. Leider konnte ich nichts dazu finden...

thx for your reply, had forgotten that the forum is only english...I've asked my question in die VUG Germany, thx for the hint. The Server has only a community licence, so maybe it will be not possible to open a support case for it.

Community Edition can open support cases. For our free products support is on best effort. Meaning if our support has free capacity, they will take on the free cases.
As a service provider you can use your rental license. This will allow you to have guaranteed support.
Especially if you process customer data with this installation or providing services (consulting, implementation, design, ...) to a customer, a license is required (end user license or rental).

Hi Fabian,
we found the problem, something went wrong when a workmate made a clone of a vm, after we had removed the new vm the backup is working again.
