Hello All
Just starting to set up Veeam at a customer site and need to check if a storage system moves hot data - between an IBM DS8870, IBM Flash Storage 840 and an IBM v7000 using the IBM easy tier system - that I can still implement an off-host proxy which I originally planned for. Because of the 3 storage systems I think, following my support call with veeam (941824), I would have to install a vss hardware provider for each of the systems but is someone else able to give me a second opinion?
Thank you.

Re: Hot Data and VSS Hardware
Hi Paul,
If VSS providers and writers can be installed/co-exist on a single off-host proxy, then you should be fine, though I doubt that we've tried that internally.
Thanks!
