Hi
I have a Windows 2008 Hyper host that has a virtual instance thats a Domain Controller that is the master ( I have a physical secondary).
All our other Hyper-V's hosts are 2012 R2 and I need to rebuild the server the DC is on so they are on the same operating system
Is it just a case of say turning off the DC, then using Veeam zip, copy the DC and restore it to the Windows 2012 R2 server?

Scott, you can also use replication job to perform such a migration, should minimize DC downtime.
