Old backup files

Hello,
I have a question about backup files.
In my backup store i have many VRB, VIB and VBK files, every days the oldest is deleted and a new one is make.
However i found 5files (all VRB) with 2013-03-22 date and I can not understand why these are still here... all other files are of the last week. Should I delete them?

Thanks.

Yep, you can delete manually files that have already fallen out of retention period, though, haven’t been cleared out automatically. Prior to deleting them, you might want to take a look at the “Backups” node in the console of the backup server and see whether these files are even reflected there.

Thanks.
