Hi,
We use replication of vms between site A and B. Now we want to limit the bandwidth between the replication partners (Hyper-V host on Site A and Hyper-V host on Site B). Having the replication jobs using repositories for metadata, I wonder how to setup bandwith traffic rules. Is this just between the hyper-V hosts or should we also consider the metadata repositories for limiting the bandwidth ?
thanks !

Re: replication and bandwidth throttle
Hi Lowlander,
The network traffic rules in scenario with replication applies on the source and target backup proxies (onhost or offhost) or WAN Accelerators.
Please review articles in the User Guide for additional information. Thanks!

Re: replication and bandwidth throttle
Correct, if repositories for metadata are located closer to replication source (as recommended), they do not incur much traffic.
