Slow SCVMM performance

Browsing in the VEEAM GUI to find or search for a VM in SCVMM takes a really long time. I did a test to see if powershell was quicker, but Find-VBRHvEntity also takes about 12min to find a single VM. Our SCVMM environment is 722 VMs big.

Browsing through our VMware environment, which has much more VMs running, is much faster and almost instantly. Also a Find-VBRViEntity on VMware takes under a minute.

Virusscanning is disabled.

Where do I start troubleshooting the connection?
