SQL transaction log backup after storage migration

Hi

We recently bought Veeam Backup and for the first week we placed backup files on temporary repository.
Today I moved all files to new repository and mapped backup job to it and everything looks fine with backup job chains except transaction log.
One of VMs is SQL server from where we were backing up transaction log every 30 minutes last week and everything was ok.
After migration, I got warnings in transaction log job statistic:

Failed to prepare guest for SQL Server transaction log backup Details: Access is denied.Failed to process [isFileExists].

Any ideas ?

Did you move transaction log backup files (.vlb) to the new repository as well?

So, you just recreated the whole repository folder one-to-one and moved all files exactly as they were on the temporary repo? Just to double-check - is it VBR 9.5 U2?

Yes, I also used "map backup" on backup job configuration.
Ijust tried to make a new transaction log backup chain but its not working either. Im getting the same warning as in first post.

This looks unexpected. The error might be an indication of insufficient permissions to access log files:

Code: Select all

Details: Access is denied. Failed to process [isFileExists].

P.S. One more question - did you map the existing job or created a new one?

I mapped existing one. All other jobs are working good with incremental backups.

Creating new job with same parameters and mapping the storage from old one resolved the problem.
