Case # 03201834
Ran Update 3a on our Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V Host, and it completed but gave a warning that several components did not update successfully. It recommend to reboot the Server and run the install again.
We rebooted the Server and ran the install again, but received the same error. Trying to update the components manually in the Veeam console fails with: "Another installation is already in progress."
Our backups have been solid for months, but are now failing with an error of "Error: Source host requires Veeam integration components to be upgraded."
We were referred to this KB, but running "Get-VM | select VMName, IntegrationServicesState" shows all VM IntegrationServicesState are up to date.
Any ideas?

Re: Update 3a Component Updates Fail
Hi BCT-Tech,
It looks like something is stuck in the installer service on that server (is that on the host itself?). Is this the B&R server? Or another server with one of the components?
If the problem cannot be resolved with a reboot, that probably means the installer service has something stuck. Could be us but could be also from something else. The issue is probably going to find what software exactly is causing this message and then it need to get uninstalled (There might be better ways by now but this is what I remember from doing before )
