Hello,
Veeam Backup & Replication 9.0.0.1715 Update2 run well in license mode until i tri connect repository from this server to Veeam Agent 3.0.1 on my client laptop. Unfortunately after connect newest Agent to older repository to older Veeam Backup & Replication 9.0 U2 something was automatically updated there without confirm.
PROCESSING ERROR during backup is: Backup console is not compatible with proxy 'veeam'. Backup server version: '9.0.0.1715'.
In actual state the Veeam Backup & Replication 9.0 is not able to backup licensed cluster.
- Reinstall by 9.0.0.902 and update to 9.0.0.1715 finished successfully, but not helped.
In programs and features are:
Veeam Backup & Replication v9.0.0.902
Veeam Backup Transport v9.0.0.1715
Veeam Backup vPowerNFS v9.0.0.1715
Veeam Mount Service v9.0.0.1715
Target node (Hyper-V) has in C:\Windows\Veeam\Backup and Replication:
"VeeamDeploymentDll.dll" v9.0.0.1715
"VeeamDeploymentSvc.exe" v9.0.0.902
Veeam Server has C:\Windows\Veeam\Backup and Replication:
"VeeamDeploymentDll.dll" v9.0.0.1715
"VeeamDeploymentSvc.exe" v9.0.0.902
Update (copy file during stopped service Veeam Installer Service) "VeeamDeploymentSvc.exe" v9.0.0.1715 from location (C:\Program Files\Veeam\Backup and Replication\Backup\Packages) - Not helped.
- Actual license expired so i'm not able to update Veeam B&R to the newest version 9.5 or am i able to update software and hold expired license on our 4 Hyper-V nodes?
Exist steps how to fix what free Veeam Agent broken?

Hello,
Most likely the issue is in the updated Installer Service that comes with a new Veeam Agent bits. If you cannot open a support case due to maintenance expiration, then try using Veeam B&R Community Edition to at least back up your productions VMs while troubleshooting the issue.

Hello,
Completely uninstall of Veeam, restart and new installation of v9.0.0.902 with update to v9.0.0.1715 helped me. I just have to create new DB for JOBs, but old folders were used succesfully.
Problem Solved.
