VLAN Tagging on Helper VM
I ran into an issue where if you choose granular recovery of a Linux vm on Hyper-v for a restore there is no option on the helper vm settings to include a vlan tag. I tried to quickly tag the vm with a vlan within vmm manually but the restore process fails (since the vm cannot get onto the network without a vlan tag) and deletes the helper vm before I can tag it. This issue would only happen if you are using trunked ports for your VM Network within your Hyper-v environment and create your vlan tag at the VM level.

Re: VLAN Tagging on Helper VM
Hello Collin,
Thanks for the feedback, I have passed this info to our R&D team. As a workaround I guess you can create an Internal/Private switch, connect it to the backup console and Helper Appliance and run the restore.
Thank you!
