Where I have to bind ISCSI Target?

Hallo,

I want to use Veeam B&R with an QNAP NAS using ISCSI. How can I get the best performance?

1. Connecting ISCSI to the Veeam B&R Server (its a virtual Machine on the HyperV Host)
2. Connecting ISCS to HyperV Host

Hi Wise,

Do you use on-host or off-host backup proxies? If it is the first case, then in order to get better performance I would suggest binding it to the Hyper-V host. In this case traffic will go from the proxy (Hyper-V host) to the backup repository directly.
