Hi,
New to Veeam, so this is hopefully an easy beginner question.
One of my older Hyper-V hosts is a 2012 Server (not R2), it has a Windows 8.1 64bit VM which fails on backup with the following error:
Failed to create snapshot (Microsoft Software Shadow Copy provider 1.0) (mode: Crash consistent) Details: Failed to prepare guests for volume snapshot.
I tried to google the error and got articles about VSS:
The Volume Shadow Copy Service is unable to allocate disk space to create a shadow copy because the specified limit is too small.
Ok, so I google how to increase the VSS disk space, closest I can find is commandline:
vssadmin.exe Resize ShadowStorage /For=C: /On=C: /MaxSize=20%
That alone did not change anything
Anyone have some suggestions as what I should try to remedy the situation?

Please contact technical support for a closer look at your setup. Meanwhile you can check Windows Event log for VSS related issues.
